Acer has two Windows handhelds on Intel's Arc G3 chips coming before the end of the year: the 8-inch Predator Atlas 8, shown at Computex in May, and the smaller Predator Atlas 7, announced on September 2.

## Predator Atlas 8

From Acer's May 28 announcement:

- **Chip:** Intel Arc G3 Extreme (Arc B390 graphics) or Arc G3 (Arc B370)
- **Screen:** 8-inch 1920×1200, 120 Hz, 500 nits, VRR
- **Memory and storage:** up to 24 GB LPDDR5X, up to 1 TB on one PCIe Gen4 M.2 2280 slot
- **Battery:** up to 80 Wh
- **Weight:** under 810 g with the 80 Wh battery, under 770 g with the 60 Wh one
- **OS:** Windows 11 Home

Acer hasn't announced US pricing. In the UK, Acer's priority-registration page listed four configurations, as reported by Hardware Busters:

| Chip | RAM / storage | Battery | UK price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Arc G3 | 16 GB / 512 GB | 60 Wh | £999.99 |
| Arc G3 | 24 GB / 512 GB | 60 Wh | £1,099.99 |
| Arc G3 Extreme | 24 GB / 1 TB | 80 Wh | £1,299.99 |
| Arc G3 Extreme | 32 GB / 1 TB | 80 Wh | £1,499.99 |

The 32 GB model only shows up on that UK page. Acer's own spec list still stops at 24 GB.

**Release date:** Acer has given two answers. The May announcement says North America, EMEA and Australia "from October 2026". The Atlas 7 release in September says the Atlas 8 is slated for North America and EMEA "from September 2026". Until Acer opens orders, treat it as autumn 2026.

## Predator Atlas 7

The Atlas 7 is the same idea in a smaller body:

- **Chip:** up to Intel Arc G3 Extreme with Arc B390 graphics
- **Screen:** 7-inch 1920×1080 touchscreen, 120 Hz
- **Memory and storage:** up to 24 GB LPDDR5X, up to 1 TB PCIe Gen4 M.2
- **Battery:** up to 80 Wh
- **OS:** Windows 11 Home

Acer lists EMEA availability in November 2026 and North America in Q4 2026, with no price yet.

We'll add both to the [handheld database](https://handheldquest.com/handhelds/) once Acer publishes full spec sheets, and they're on the [release calendar](https://handheldquest.com/upcoming/) in the meantime.
