These terms apply to everyone who visits handheldquest.com (“HandheldQuest”, “the site”, “we”). By using the site you accept them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

What the site is

HandheldQuest publishes specifications, list prices, news, comparisons, guides and summaries of published reviews about gaming handhelds. We don’t sell products, and nothing on the site is an offer to sell. You don’t need an account to use it.

Information on the site

Every spec, price and review finding comes with its source and the date it was checked. Manufacturers still change products and prices, and sources can be wrong. All information is provided “as is” and “as available”, for general guidance only. Check the details with the seller or manufacturer before you buy.

Prices are regular list prices on the date shown. They aren’t offers, deals or guarantees that a product is in stock.

Review Consensus pages, comparisons and guides summarise reviews by other publications. Those reviews belong to their publishers and are linked on each page. HandheldQuest doesn’t test devices itself.

Using the site

You may read, share and link to any page for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

  • copy or republish whole articles, or extract the device database in bulk, without written permission;
  • use the site in a way that breaks the law or other people’s rights;
  • try to disrupt the site, get around its security, or overload it with automated requests;
  • present our content as your own or remove source credits.

Quoting short passages with a link back to the page is fine.

Intellectual property

The text, data compilation, page design and logo of HandheldQuest belong to the site. Product names, brand names and logos belong to their owners; their use here identifies the products and doesn’t imply endorsement or a partnership. Product images come from manufacturers and are credited on each page. Embedded videos stay on YouTube and belong to their channels.

We link to manufacturers, stores and publications we cite, and we embed some YouTube videos. Those sites and services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren’t responsible for their content, products or practices.

Some links may become affiliate links in the future. When they do, the affiliate disclosure explains how they work. Affiliate relationships never change what we publish.

Messages you send us

If you email us a tip, a correction or feedback, you allow us to use that information to check and improve the site. We won’t publish your name or email address without asking. The privacy policy explains how we handle email.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, HandheldQuest is not liable for losses that come from using the site or relying on its information, including purchase decisions, lost profits or indirect damage. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or removes rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

Changes to the site and these terms

We may change, pause or remove any part of the site at any time. We may also update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes go to the competent courts of Romania, unless the consumer protection law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
