Review consensus

What reviewers say about the ROG Ally X

Reviewers call the 2024 ROG Ally X the best Windows handheld of its generation. The 80 Wh battery, 24 GB of RAM, cooler running and better grips fix the main complaints about the original Ally. The chip and the 1080p IPS screen are unchanged, Windows 11 still gets criticism on a small touchscreen, and at $799 most reviewers weigh it against a cheaper Steam Deck OLED.
